Our offer
- You accompany projects in the design and development of chassis systems for new vehicle generations from pre-development to series production
- You coordinate and manage subprojects independently
- Chassis design of individual parts and assemblies including kinematics
- Creation of production and assembly-specific documentation
- Production and material selection of prototypes
- Construction and design of axle and full vehicle models
- Deadline and cost tracking in the product development process
- Coordination, moderation and documentation of Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) according to VDA
- You support in projects and moderate your topics independently and on your own responsibility for internal and external customers
- You will work on projects for renowned OEM’s in the areas of series development, research, sports cars and motor sports
Your qualification
- Successful studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar
- Professional experience in chassis design and production-oriented documentation desirable
- Familiar with the use of CATIA V5 and/or SIEMENS NX
- Knowledge of the product development process
- Enthusiasm and in-depth understanding of vehicle dynamics/driving comfort
- Initial experience in dealing with FMEA methods
- System knowledge of FMEA tools (preferably APIS IQ FMEA or PLATO Scio) desirable
- Moderation and presentation experience in German and English an advantage
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and technical understanding
- Independent and structured way of working and high ability to work in a team
