Our offer
- You will support projects in the design and development of chassis systems for new vehicle generations, prototypes in the areas of research, pre-development and series production
- You coordinate and manage subprojects independently
- Design of individual parts and assemblies including kinematics in the area of chassis
- Creation of production and assembly-specific documentation
- Manufacturing and material selection of prototypes
- Construction and design of axle and full vehicle models
- Deadline and cost tracking in the product development process
- You will assume responsibility for individual components and actively drive their product development process on your own responsibility.
- You will work on projects for renowned OEM’s in the areas of series development, research, sports cars and motor sports.
Your qualification
- Successful studies in the field of mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
- Professional experience in design as well as production-related documentation in the chassis (involvement in Formula Student or automotive area) desirable
- Familiar with the use of CATIA V5 and/or SIEMENS NX
- Knowledge of the product development process
- Knowledge in the evaluation and creation of strength verifications (FEM) e.g. with Altair is an advantage
- Enthusiasm and deeper understanding of vehicle dynamics/driving comfort.
- Very good knowledge of English and German
