What actually happens before a race car actually hits the track?
Before the racing action begins, vehicles and components undergo rigorous testing and optimization on our vertical dynamics test bench. Together with Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) and former Formula 1 driver Christian Danner, we provided an exclusive look at our work in the Vehicle Test Lab. The focus was on our 7-poster test bench.
Together with our Head of Vehicle Test Lab, Philipp Premel, Christian Danner delved into the technology behind the complex testing procedures and saw firsthand how data, expertise, and precision lead to continuous improvements.
The specifics of our work were demonstrated during filming using ID Racing as an example: The team’s Porsche was in use on our 7-Poster at the time. Team boss Iris Dorr provides exciting insights from the team’s perspective in the video.
